Eczema Video -Transitioning to Natural Skincare

This video is to capture my skin journey. I have eczema and I currently use a cream that has a steroid in it and I’m trying to wean myself off of it to a natural product that me and my roommate created. In the upcoming weeks I will be doing more research and adding more components to the moisturizer to eventually replace my current steroidal cream, which is called triamcinolone. So far the moisturizer we made includes pure shea butter, pure aloe vera, extra virgin olive oil and peppermint essential oil. If you have any skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis this may be helpful information. Thanks for viewing :-) Don’t forget to subscribe & rate the video.

Great vid. I have had eczema all my life also. I have transitioning to natural products and my? skin just wasn’t having it. I also tried not scatching as they say this is the worse thing you can do but I ended up hoping around the house like a women gone made. But as a result I was more incontrol. I have also learnt o watch my diet as this really plays with my eczema. I think I will start trying out new products again and keep an update :-)

    Hi Kia,
For my face I wash it at night using Cetaphil Bar, it’s a non cosmeogenic soap. Then I use shea butter, aloe and olive oil on my face to moisturize it. In the morning I usually wash with water only and use cocoa butter. I will definitely keep? you posted on my results!

I have always had dehydrated skin and now, I think I am developing seasonal Eczema. I call it seasonal because my already dehydrated skin gets worst during the winter months and this year, it is OOC? and nothing seems to work. You have me inspired to test your and thembess concoctions and see what I get. Question, what do you use as a facial moisturizer? I find myself lathering up my cheeks and chin at least twice per day and I do not use any foundation. Keep us posted with the results!
