Question by norman davis: is there any instant cure for flexural psoriasis?
Best answer:
Answer by flyhock06
no, sorry. Flexural psoriasis is just like any other type of psoriasis in its cure process.
you can reduce the inflamation that occurs from flexural psoriasis by reducing the friction at the location of the infection.
If your trying to get rid of the itch and pain now, then the best I can offer is look at itch relief creams or home remedies that do the same, and Hope they work.

My daughter had it for years on her neck and scalp. Are you under stress? I know it can aggravate psoriasis. See a dermatologist. Hopefully he/she can prescribe something that will help you.

Hi, she can try one of the natural treatments available on the Internet (just google “natural treatment of psoriasis”) and take your pick. Some of them do actually work. For my psor. I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and they then stay clear for months on end.
Try it: Champori comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work for your sister – it’s free.
Cheers,
Stella

Question by nithyan_78: Any permanent cure from Psoriasis skin problem?
Best answer:
Answer by Zoila
Currently there is no cure for psoriasis. However, many types of treatment are available, including products applied to the skin, phototherapy, and oral medications, that can keep psoriasis under control. Most cases are mild and can be treated with skin products. In some cases, psoriasis can be hard to treat if it is severe and widespread. Most psoriasis returns, even mild forms.

Very sorry to dissapoint you.I have been unable to find a cure for my facial psoriasis, though only tiny spots(about 1 to 1.5 cm).For 22 years I have lived with it.Now I am 42.Applying heavy moisturisers really helps though….only to keep it minimal. What I’ve found out is that factors like stress, heat and poor diet are the main culprit.I share with your sister’s sorrow. But I’ve learnt to live with it.Anyway…don’t give up searching for the cure….good luck.

Question by amazigh: is there a medecine or cure for psoriasis?
Best answer:
Answer by Lotus Notes 6.5 Problem
There is no cure. I have a mild case of psoriasis, and my Dad has one of the worst cases ever recorded, and my sister has a pretty bad case too.
I use a hydrocortisone (sp) creme and rub it directly on my bad areas. One thing that has really worked for the areas on my face is to use Nizoral shampoo and rub it on my face while I’m in the shower, let it sit for about 2 minutes and then shower it off. Do this three times a week, it works really good for me, Nizoral is a prescription shampoo, but you can get it over the counter, just not as strong. However don’t use it on your hair, it made our hair fall out!!! You can also use it on your elbows and knees.
Other than that there are all kinds of treatments available through your doctor. The best is ultraviolet light, but that can also cause skin cancer….so be careful with that.
Hopefully with all the gene therapy stuff being developed now, we’ll have a cure in the next 10 years…..keep your fingers crossed!
