Are the following cures for infection and eczema? To be clear, I have not made a penny from this and this is for informational purposes only. I tried a very large number of different treatments for about 6 months and the following methods are what helped me most. Following are the primary treatments I used that helped me dramatically: Tea Tree Oil Ointment — I tried to leave it on thick for 24 hours or more, then I simply wiped-off the thick scaly-skin with a paper towel. I also used a “Colloidal / ionic Silver-based Gel” which appeared to stop or dramatically reduce my severe skin infection (available at many health stores). After much of the thick scaly-skin was off, I used a Neem and Lactobacillus-based topical cream. It is not easy to find Neem-based creams that also have the topical probiotic Lactobacillus. However, I would guess that a cream may be created by simply adding some of the probiotic in powder-form from health stores to widely available Neem-based creams. I used “Episencial Soothing Cream” ( a topical Neem and Lactobacillus Cream with lots of other generally healthy natural ingredients included) and you can find it online. You should also be able to find the “Sovereign Silver First Aid Gel” online and in many local health stores. Following is information and some ways to make your own lower priced Colloidal / ionic Silver Gel: www.healthiertalk.com www.silvergen.com www.youtube.com My guess as to why this probiotic with Neem cream seemed to be very …

Psoriasis
Treatment:
Currently, there is no cure for psoriasis. However, there are many treatment options that can clear psoriasis for a period of time. Each treatment has advantages and disadvantages, and what works for one patient may not be effective for another. Board-certified dermatologists have the medical training and experience needed to determine the most appropriate treatments for each patient.
Diagnosis:
There are several forms of psoriasis, and each form has unique characteristics that allow dermatologists to visually identify psoriasis to determine what type, or types, of psoriasis is present. Sometimes a skin biopsy will be performed to confirm the diagnosis.
To choose the most appropriate treatment method, dermatologists consider several factors:
>Type of psoriasis
>Severity (the amount of skin affected)
>Where psoriasis is located
>Patient’s age and medical history
>Effects psoriasis has on patient’s overall physical and emotional
well-being
Types of Treatment:
Psoriasis treatments fall into 3 categories:
>Topical (applied to the skin) – Mild to moderate psoriasis
>Phototherapy (light, usually ultraviolet, applied to the skin) – Moderate to severe psoriasis
>Systemic (taken orally or by injection or infusion) – Moderate, severe or disabling psoriasis
While each of these therapies is effective, there are also drawbacks.
Some topicals are messy and may stain clothing and skin. Phototherapy can require 2 to 5 weekly visits to a dermatologist’s office or psoriasis clinic for several weeks. Many of the systemic medications have serious side effects and must be combined or rotated with other therapies to maximize effectiveness and minimize side effects. Research is being conducted to find therapies that provide safe, effective, easy-to-use treatment options that provide long-term relief.

psoriasis-
-disease of the skin,
-when you get a abrasion (puncture) to the skin, your skin cells start repairing the the skin but with psoriasis, the cells do this too quickly which causes the build up of skin flakes.
-your skin gets inflamed (red,itchy,dry)
-usually hereditary
-smokers more prone to it,
-smoking increases flare ups
-if a girl is pregnant her skin will clear up while she is pregnant
-a native healer told me to clean my liver and blood once with a certain herbal supplement, cant remember the name
-keep your liver, blood and immune system healthy
-a warm bath with baby oil or some kind of oil helps remove flakes
-sunshine and tanning beds…don’t over do it, couple min here and there is good
-watch your diet eat your vegetables and drink plenty water
-keep the humidity in your house at a comfortable level
-lotions, what ever works for you
- every one i diff, so you gotta keep searching for whatever works for you
- i heard clay helps, like the natural stuff

Question by op3th: Cure psoriasis by not showering?!?
Hi, im 25 years old and ive had psoriasis since the age of 7. I have it extremely bad, my sides have spots so large they are about the size of a frisbee. When i was around 13 years old i noticed that when i skipped showers, the psoriasis would start looking better, less red and almost as if i could see normal skin behind it. I began an experiment, i would take a bath, leave on of my legs out of the bathtub (uncomfortable) and the rest of my body i would bathe normally. I did this for about 2 weeks and the unclean leg was 100% cleared! I then did a similar experiment by showering (but no soaps, only a quick rinse) and i would also go swimming in our pool (chlorinated), this being in louisiana – lots of sun light. This method also seemed to work.
I have not tried this again, atleast not to that extent. Now i am completely covered. Maybe its time to try this again…
My girlfriend would hate it, but im sure she hates the psoriasis even more.
If i do this and succeed in removing psoriasis, i will report it back here

You should take short showers making sure the water is not to hot with a natural mild soap. Swimming and sun could actually irritate your psoriasis. Check out a natural product called Xcel SO manufactured by Xcel Nutraceuticals at xcel-n.com I have used this for my daughter and have gotten some good results.

Answer by barneycrisp
Supposedly there isn’t. But there are remedies that keep psor. in check for long periods. I personally haven’t had a remiss for 15 months now after only 2.5 weeks of treating my psoriasis (scalp, elbows and knees) with the herbal cream and spray from http://www.champori.com Try it; it comes with money back guarantee, too.
Best,

Although psoriasis is not a life-threatening condition, it often causes great discomfort. This is especially true when it occurs on the face. This condition is characterized by scaly, thick patches which may be painful and/or itchy. They are never attractive. Over seven million suffer from this condition according to the National Institute of Health. Although it is non-contagious, it is incurable.
Thankfully there are many treatments to help relieve the symptoms. This is important as most people want to hide away when an outbreak occurs. If you are looking to learn how to cure psoriasis on the face, there are certain things you can do. No one approach will work for everyone so keep searching until you find the one that works best for you.
Doctors often prescribe solutions such as Tazorac or Dovanex. Salicylic acid is another remedy that may be suggested. This is the same active ingredient found in many acne solutions. Psoriasis symptoms often decrease with the use of the product as it helps to remove the scales from the face. Over-the-counter products are available or your doctor may write you a prescription for a stronger formula.

Corticosteroids may also be prescribed. Treatments of this type help to reduce the swelling and redness of the face. Care must be taken when using these products as skin irritation may occur when they are left on the skin. It is best to start with a mild product to see if it produces results before moving on to stronger ones for this reason. If you are looking for how to cure psoriasis on the face when outbreaks frequently occur around the eyes, you will need special products as the eye area is very sensitive. Two that are often prescribed include Elidel cream and Protopic ointment.
Cure psoriasis natural treatments are very popular. Prescription medications and over-the-counter treatments may have side effects so, if you have tried these only to find that they make the condition worse rather than better, you might want to try natural remedies. Coal tar may be used as it helps with burning, itching, scaling and inflammation. This works by slowing down the proliferation of skin cells. Avoid products that appear to lead to flare-ups such as perfumed soaps and creams. Dietary changes may help and photo therapy has been shown to produce results. Short bouts in the sun are better than one long sunbathing session. Overexposure can actually make your psoriasis worse.
Try one or more of these methods until you find the one that works best for you. Trial and error will be needed to find the best treatment or combination of treatments. Improvement will be seen when you find the right ones and you will feel better about yourself as a result.
